Episode 13: Build community with Sarah Goodman, MSW, RSW

In today's episode Day 1 host, Emily Getz, speaks to social worker, Sarah Goodman, MSW, RSW, on the importance of building community to help support yourself when going through fertility challenges. Sarah speaks to how her own experience with multiple miscarriages lead her to co-found Eva Wellness, a mental health service and community where women can feel empowered, informed, and supported throughout their journey to motherhood and beyond.

This is an important story as it sheds light on the impact miscarriages have and how many who experience them can sometimes feel isolated within the infertility community because their story might not be "big" enough.

Sarah beautifully speaks to how she built a community to support her in a way that worked for her, how she became a first time mother through the COVID-19 pandemic and how her experiences inspired the creation of Eva Wellness.
